The matching black door panels, black carpet (with tan Coco mats) and painted dashboard (the last year) are a striking contrast to the Pale Blue exterior of the car and look fantastic. The weather-stripping is pliable and is very good condition. All gauges have correct appearance and function as originally designed. The original steering wheel and black dashboard add to the period feel. Hidden in the glove box is the upgraded Kenwood stereo with KLH speakers to complete this Volkswagen’s interior as this VW was a radio delete optioned car.

This nicely presented VW is equipped with a rebuilt 1.6 liter flat 4-cylinder engine, fed by a single Solex carburetor. Power is transferred to the rear wheels by a 4-speed manual transmission.
