1986 VW GTI project car, has 204,000 miles, hard to start cold, and smokes when warmed up, but still runs pretty well. Has recently replaced clutch and clutch cable, battery, fuel pump. Has good brakes and parking brake, 5 speed still shifts well with no issues, silver paint is faded out. All original car with solid chassi, has rust in floor pan where feet would rest on passenger front floor. Has full exhaust system intact not rotted out. Has the original rims. Have original paperwork and window sticker.Options includ, a/, manual crank sunroof, cruise and power steering. Car still pretty good but deserves a restoration.I bought for family member as a project and he bought a different car, now I need to sell.
