1971 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic Super Beetle

We are selling our Father and Son Project. Bought this little beauty with no motor, no transmission and a box full of parts. We found this completely rebuilt 1775 engine on line with no more than bench running time on it. Bought a completely rebuilt transmission from the local Classic VW shop (Hill Top Motors - Jacksonville, Fl). Put new drive axels, new brake cylinders, new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing and new rear hubs. Put it all together and it has been my daily driver since September 2015. It gets a lot of thumbs up but my son wants to find an oldVW Bus or late 60's early70's Pickup to redo. So the car has to go somy Wife will let us buy a new project.The car is For Sale Locally too. Just put the original bumper back on ( the old owner used to push it with the bumper so I tried to straighten it as best as I could, will put pics with the bumper on soon), also have a stock exhaust if you don't want the stinger.
