Description:

1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic 113

You are looking at a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle. Rare black exterior/interior with off white liner. 138772 miles on the odometer, et less than 5000 miles on a complete engine rebuild. I have the maintenance records for the rebuild. New parts include new chrome accents on door, ody, nd hood including the VW emblem, ew master cylinder for brakes, ew black carpet for the front truck, ew plastic wire cover, ew rear turn signal lenses, nd new sun visors. All five original wheels (including spare) have been professionally powder coated black within the year. Two new tires. The other three are in good shape. Full sized spare with hubcap is in the front trunk. It passes Virginia State Inspection with ease. The vehicle starts immediately and runs and drives great. It tops out at or better than original specs. (72 mph) New in box parts included with the sale: Front and rear seat belts with mounting hardware, ront right headlight housing, eals for the front turn signals, nd a tar board heat shield and multiple cans of color matched spray-paint/enamel. The heat works. It has an Optima battery. The seats are in good shape minus a small 2 inch crack in the front drivers seat. If I had to drive it cross country, would bet on it making it without a problem. It always turns heads and 99% of the time I run into someone with a great bug story. The paint is mostly in good shape with a few places that could use attention. The floorpans seem solid unlike many Beetles this age. For a fifty year old car, t runs better than me some mornings and I'm only 45. I will include an indoor car cover and will get it inspected for State Inspection and an oil change prior to shipping the vehicle. I can assist with shipping but the cost falls on the buyer. Thank you for looking. I look forward to answering any questions. It is classy. It is over 50 years old and is really cool and fun to drive. https://youtu.be/s53jhwGvJ68 I just posted new photos including the owners manual (printed in 1964), ide photos, nd battery compartment, hich was repaired a few years ago but shows signs of rust. I will include a POR-15 rust prevention kit that I bought last year but never used.
