1976 Triumph TR-6 Convertible

Up for auction is my unfinished project 1974 Triumph TR-6. The car has low 75,219 miles on the odometer and is a true numbers matching car. Car has the rare original factory overdrive transmission and factory steel hard top. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is you chance to get a straightforward Triumph TR6 well below the current market value. This is probably the best deal this year on Ebay for a Triumph TR6 and she is selling this week to the highest / last bidder. Heritage:This is a rare true numbers matching car and you can order a British Heritage Certificate from England or I can do it for you. The cars commission date was April 1976. Commission number is CF 54637 UO, engine number is CF 44996 UE, body tag #1 T 39299 CF and body tag #2 is 41221 CF. Paint code is #19 and the interior trim code is #74. Overdrive Transmission:Yes this car has therare and highly sought afteroverdrive transmission. Mechanicals:The car has not been run is a couple of years. Needs distributor work and new battery at a minimum ( might need other small things due to sitting ). Engine spins but I've not tried to start the car. Engine has all the original Smog equipment which is very rare to see / find. Brakes and clutch need to be bled out ( no real peddle pressure ). Has clear oil and good antifreeze. Tires are fair. Exterior: As you can see the car needs paint and panel repairs. Car comes with all the extra panels you see in the auction photos.
Gauges: All gauges are correct and original "Smith" brand
Interior: The interior is in overall fair condition as seen in the photos Hard Top: Car comes with a factory steel hard top as seen in the auction photos. Rare find and a great option to have. Soft Top: The soft is in fair good condition but one should plane on replacing it. Shipping:If you need to have the car shipped to your location here in the states you can get a fast and free online quote from Able Auto Transport at: http://www.ableautotransport.com/ Overseas Bidders:Yes the auction is open to overseas bidders. The auction is open to overseas bidders and if you need to ship overseas try Schumacher Cargo Logisticsshipping for fast free quotes ( http://www.schumachercargo.com/ ). In Closing:The abovedescriptionis my observations and opinions and they very from person to person so ask all questions prior to bidding. If I have missed anything in the cars description it was not my intention so please ask for as much detail as you need to make an informed decision on the car prior to bidding.Don't want the winning bidder saying afterwards well you missed this or that. Be a responsible bidder and ask all questions prior to bidding. Guess you might call this a running and driving project needing exterior work and paint. I'm not an expert and my opinion of the car may vary from yours so please look at the photos closely and if you need more information or the extra photos please ask prior to bidding. I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. Due to the cars age and having no way to warranty the car I'm selling her as in "as is" condition. Car is being sold as a non running / driving project. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due within 48 hours of auctions end.
