1980 Triumph Spitfire Convertible

Up for auction is a very nice driver quality 1980 Triumph Spitfire with only 72,820 miles on the odometer. The car sports the rare and highly sought after factory overdrive which works perfectly in both 3rd and 4th gears. Just did a huge amount of work on her so please take time to read the auction in its entirety as this is not your run of the mill Spitfire. A No BS / totally turn key car.I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is you chance to get a nice looking, running and driving Triumph Spitfire with factory overdrive way the heck below the current market value. The auction is starting at $1 so make no mistakes this car is selling this week to the highest bidder regardless of sale price. So if your bidding your bidding to buy the car. This a trueturnkey car.
Mechanical s:The car runs great and drives very nicely. Car starts right up with no issues, smoke or noises. Car holds right around 60 lbs of oil pressure. Runs drives great with no issues that I'm aware of. Great throttle response. I've never seen a single drip of any type under the car ( she's drum tight ). No body squeaksor rattles when driving the car. The car was just professionally serviced with a tune up, oil change, oil filter, air filter, radiator coolant changed, carburetor tuned / balanced, new water pump installed, new thermostat installed, new fan belt and the alternator was recently replaced. Also, last week the brake system was completely gone through with new front brake calipers, new front brake rotors, new front brake pads, new front brake hoses, new rear brake drums, new rear brake cylinders, new rear brake shoes and new rear brake hoses. The above listed work was done by a professional and was not cheap by any means. A Totally turn key car. Needs nothing at this time that I'm aware of. Again, this is a rare factory overdrive car !!!
Gauges:All gauges are "Smith" brand correct and are in proper working order at this time.
Electrical's :This area is in exceptionally good condition with the following items in proper working order. Head lights work ( high and low beam ), front maker lights work, front indicator lights work, front side markers work, front running light work, rear running lights work, rear indicator lights work, rear side maker lights work, rear brake lights work, rear back up lights work, horn works, blower fan works, windshield wipers work, courtesy light works and the dash gauge lights work. Try to find one like this !!
Exterior:The car shows well in the photos and presents herself very well in person. Car sits evenly and squarely on the ground with no visible signs of leaning or sagging. Note that this car does not have the "Dreaded" Triumph Spitfire squatting issue that most always have. Body and panel fit are very, very nice. I find no evidence of any rust or rust repairs on the car. Very solid rust free car. The underbody looks just as nice ( zero rust or rust repairs ) and I have photos that are available upon request.Interior:What can I say.... She's a Bunny. Recent new items are new seats, new door panels, new rear cockpit panels, new carpet kit, new center bash support, new shift boot, new sun visors and new dash top. Dash face has some age but looks fine at this time.
Soft Top:The soft is like new and I have photos available upon request.Trunk:The trunk is rock solid. Car comes with spare tire / wheel and tools. Photos upon request.

I know how hard it is to purchase a car online so please ask any and all questions you have prior to bidding or if you can come see and drive the car for yourself ( I really encourage you to do so ) as I want the winning bidder to be satisfied with the car when it arrives. One should expect a few very small paint chips ( none of which show up in the photos ).
