1951 Triumph Renown

This 1951 Triumph Renown hails from Derbyshire in the UK, where he was christened with the name Moe. My stepfather purchased him in August of 2005 and had him shipped to the U.S. Since coming over, the car has been kept in a garage at all times with the exception of a brief week long stent during a move. Moe runs well, he usually starts right away. The car was driven short distances while in my parents' possession. Through the information my stepfather gained when purchasing the car, it was driven on occasion then too and kept indoors. I have inherited the car this year and am looking into selling it simply because I am not at a place in my life to be able to enjoy all that owning a classic car has to offer at this time.

Issues: This car was put into wonderful condition very soon after purchased in 2005. It was shortly after that when my stepfather fell ill and since Moe had been in the garage. During that time, he has obtained some blemishes. Foremost is the interior, there are some areas of what appears to be mold around the headliner and in some places in the rear seat of the car. I have been advised that the bolts along the running boards on both sides aren't all there. A piece of the rubber trim from the running board is not attached, it is in the car however. As mentioned above, the overall paint job still looks great but there are a few blemishes. The chrome also is well done, but polish is needed. All chrome pieces were redone in 2005-2006 by M&P Refinishing of Jeannette, PA. From my novice eye, the carpet looks to just need to be cleaned, the upholstery also needs attention, but I do not think either needs replacement. A gentleman that looked over the car for me mentioned some over-spray in the engine compartment from painting that would need to be cleaned up for show.
Classic cars are not my expertise, but I am happy to answer anything I can or research what I don't know.
