This is a 1978 Triumph TR7 Project car. I purchased this car about a year ago for parts for another TR7 that was from Nevada that needed an interior. I never found the time to get to either of these cars as I tend to build more american muscle cars and trucks so I decided to let these go to someone who could appreciate them. This is for just the 78 TR7 hardtop. The car is complete as I never removed anything from the car. Just hauled it home and put it in the shop and there it sat in my way. The car is supposed to have a very low mile rebuilt engine in it but I can't guarantee it. I can see some new gaskets on the motor so it may be possible. The car was driven until the owner passed away and his son ended up with the car. He couldn't get it running after it had been sitting for awhile so I purchased it. I did notice that the coil has no wires hooked up on it so I'm sure the lack of spark would of been an issue in getting it to run. Parts are hard to come by on these cars so if nothing else it would be good for parts or you can restore it if that is your preference. It does have some rust issues and I tried to take pictures of those areas. I also looked at the floor pans, The drivers pan is pretty solid with the exception of where the floor meets the toe board on the outside edge a simple fix. The passenger floor board would need replaced in my opinion. Look at the pictures closely as they are the best description of the car. Thanks I will be listing the other Triumph TR7 Convertible tomorrow as it will be for sale as well. Very solid body just a sun damaged interior. This car is currently not running, I have never tried to get it to run. It does turn over and is not stuck but will have to be hauled. The gas tank will need cleaned as it has very old gas in it.
