1979 Triumph TR7

This car is in good shape, runs well. It does need some work, but what nearly 40 year old British car doesn't. Don't really want to part with this but I need the cash to pay some bills. I have owned it 6 months and done a bunch of work getting it ready for summer.
Exterior - As you can see from the pics, it has shiny new paint. It was painted a few years ago, although the job is not "show quality." For most people it is fine, I'm just picky. There are a couple spots of rust, a few pin holes in the lower quarter panel, and the bottom of the trunk. The trunk was repaired when the car was painted, but it wasn't done well and could use some cleanup. There is a mark on the drivers side door from the door being opened too far. There are new seals for the engine compartment, doors, trunk, and rear lights. New seals for the outside of the door windows are included but not installed yet.
Drivetrain - Car runs pretty good, does not leak oil! Thermostat was replaced as were the heater matrix seals. Cooling system does not leak. Carburetors should probably be rebuilt; was on my list of things to do. It has the often problematic water choke, which does not fully disengage on this car. I was planning to convert to manual choke when carbs were rebuilt. It does not run poorly, but a cold start up needs three feet to keep it idling. Once warmed up, its fine. Plugs/cap/rotor/wires were changed recently and are in good shape. Transmission is a 5 speed and it works well. Exhaust is 2" custom that was done by the previous owner. Muffler was bad when I bought it so I swapped in another one in the rear location. Exhaust could be redone better although it is pretty quiet now with new muffler. The tires have good tread but are older.
Suspension - Brakes are good. All hoses were replaced by previous owner. Rear shoes and wheel cylinders were also replaced at the same time. Shocks were also replaced by previous owner also.
Interior - Previous owner had the seats, door panels, and rear parcel shelf recovered. The job was done by professionals, but it does not match the original design. Some of the carpet was also replaced by it isn't the greatest looking carpet. Interior was also on my to do list.
This is a good driver quality car. It would take a fair amount of work to be a show car, but can be a good around town car. I have enjoyed the miles that I have put on it since my purchase.
It has a "branded" salvage title. I was told that the car was sold to a junk yard and the prior owner bought it from the junk yard. In PA, once it goes to a junk yard, it cannot be sold with a regular title. Not sure if this is true, but I have not found any evidence of collision damage on the car; it was originally yellow as can be seen under the hood.
