1980 Triumph Other TR 7

1980 Triumph TR7 convertible roadster, body is rock solid and nearly rust free, does have one small spot on pass rear wheel, plus a couple blisters/bubbles at some seams and some paint peeling on the hood. Has had one repaint in the original color, the floors, trunk and frame are very good, with only one fairly well done patch on drivers floor (see pics), Interior very good, seats seem to have been redone, dash is perfect, rugs are decent. Runs well, drives well, new tires, has had some mods, header, dual Weber carbs and air cleaners, Was factory AC car but most items are long gone, heater has been by passed but fan works, Top is in tough shape and needs replacement ($350 for top), window regulators need some work, right rear tail light has some cracks ($89, directional/wiper switch is broken/loose and may need replacement, ($59), steering rack has wear at pinion gear, may be fixed or replaced ($179). All in all extremely solid car that has never been driven up here. Came form Florida out of a Ferrari dealer and sat in storage since. Car seems to have been garaged its whole life. That said it does need TLC all around. Great car for an owner rolling restoration, drive it while you pick away at the list. No major mechanical or body restoration to pay some one else to do. I came across the car and bought it because of the amazing body which, I just done get to see up here in New England. I have many cars and projects going all the time and have decided to offer the car for sale before I start buying parts, that is why I have listed the cost of some items I have found here on eBay. Would also be a great candidate for a V8/TR8 conversion of Vintage Racer do to it being structurally perfect.
Feel free to ask questions, I will do my best to answer accurately, though I am not a TR7 expert, I have owned a Spitfire and a Spit Six project that i never finished, but that is it as far as Triumphs. Thank for looking, Mark.
