1974 Triumph TVR 2500M 2500M

Founded in Blackpool England by Trevor Wilkinson, VR is one of several great Britishcottage-industry car companies introducedion the late 1940's. TVR cars have al;most always been known for being fast, owdy and loud. The 2500M series was the pinnacle model with the newlydesigned andstrengthened framework. These classics are very rare, nd seldom found in this "concours condition". This TVR has all the correct factory components i.e. Stromberg Carburetors, hrome bumpers and leather interior coverings. Thisparticular TVR has certainly lived a "charmed" life... being professionally restored to show condition, nd then being upgraded and maintained year after year. It's been a winner at many Quality English Sports Car Shows, nd carefully taken care of along the way. Recent upgrades were made in 2015...to include the following:New ClutchNew Clutch Master CylinderNew Spark Plugs and WiringNew Ignition Rotor and CapNew Thermostat and Water PumpValve adjustment w/many seals & gaskets replacedCoolant flush, il & Filter this past month.Take note of the Matching Racing Mirrors, nd the terrific Leather wrapped Mota Lita steering wheel. The paint looks "wet"....no flaws, cratches or blemishes. These TVR's are coming into their own, n the British Sports Car scene. Their values have risen each and every year, nd are now finding enthusiasts who once thought that only buying Healeys, organs, G's and Triumphs....was their only option. No longer. Thesecars start, hift and runfast andsmoothly ...tight and handling is terrific. Not to many of these 2500M's on the market today...if you check out Ebay and Hemmings, ou'll find the Tuscans, ixens and Granturas.... and their prices are skyrocketing each year. This example has been used as a "Showcar", nd 56thousand of it's miles were created before it's restoration. New owner can continue it's ribbon-winniing lifestyle, r drive it and enjoy it's head-turninglooks and wonderful performance. Either way, his classic will be worth much more money down the road. Investment counselors will tell you: "When buying Classic cars for investment"...only buy "The Best car available".... no need to put extra money into it, nd it will appreciate in value every year.I'm a private collector, nd this is my 2nd TVR.... I'm retiring from the hobby and simply liquidating all my Classics.
