1985 Toyota Celica GTS Convertible is one of 4,248 produced, 2,532 were three-speed with overdrive automatics, and 1,716 were 5-speed manuals. Power is from a 2.4-liter 22R-E inline-four features electronic fuel injection and sends power to the rear wheels with a five-speed manual transmission. Original motor and transmission are solid and strong.

The GTS convertible was built by ASC in California, and this example is finished in super black over a gray cloth interior with body-color fender flares, black trim and mirrors, fully functional pop-up headlights (plus two spare motors), and power antenna.

14″ double-spoke alloy wheels are fitted with all brand new 235/60 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. GTS models were factory equipped with an independent rear suspension and disc brakes at each corner.

The cabin features sport seats upholstered in gray cloth with patterned inserts and matching door panels. Interior amenities include power windows, locks, and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, seatbelts for four, and a three-piece convertible top boot. An aftermarket Sony stereo has been added in place of the factory unit.

The two-spoke steering wheel fronts instrumentation including a 130-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a digital clock, and auxiliary gauges for battery, fuel level, temperature, and oil. The six-digit odometer shows 195k miles.

I love this car. It has been pampered. It is garage parked every day and night. I hardly drive it. It is full-time convertible. I have clean CA title in hand. It passed smog. Registration is good until 08/08/21. Custom plates (CEL GTS = Celica GTS) will come with the car.Overall, this GTS is in excellent condition.
