Description:

1991 Toyota Land Cruiser

Photos of the truck prior to its cosmetic refreshment have been documented.
The interior is trimmed in grey cloth with wood accents, and the side vinyl on the front seats replaced due to holes in the previous material. The seats have been covered since the car was new, and the seat covers were removed for photographs. The original headliner is in pristine condition. The entire interior is almost in perfect condition. Both the dash pad and seat covers are included in the sale.
The air conditioning system was recharged within the past month (AC/ IS FREEZING) and new window regulators have been installed in the rear doors. A factory stereo is present alongside stock climate controls and other accessories. Approximately 281k miles are shown on the odometer,
The 4.0L inline-six is paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The truck is full time 4WD.
A number of brake system repairs have been completed over the past decade, and a tiny hole in the exhaust was welded shut. The minimal leak from the rear main seal has been present since new according to the original owner.
I have documented the work before and after completion on my 1991 Toyota Land Cruiser. This is a unique, highly well kept full time 4WD 1991 Toyota Fj 80 Land Cruiser.
The Land Cruiser was a mature adult, one owner vehicle/ shop owner, before I purchased and titled and it. Then, it went straight into multiple shops for reconditioning until now.
Mostly Non-Ethanol Gas has been in this 1991 Toyota FJ80 Land Cruiser, since the original new sale purchase, till now, otherwise, 93 octane on trips. I am supplying the Carfax & Clear title. I have before shots of the vehicle, documenting before the entire paintwork was preformed. I have the after shots of the entire vehicle after the full paint job was completed.
The full body received a repaint in Medium Red Pearl. The windshield, window felt strips, rubber flare seals, washer nozzles, and left front door weather-stripping were also replaced during the cosmetic work. ALL BODY PARTS ARE ORIGINAL. The rear bumper has one tiny ding in the diamond plate. The Carfax report indicates long-term original ownership. A minor 1998 accident is noted on the Carfax, which the original owner reports was due to a parking lot incident that damaged the front bumper. For the entire paint, all the doors, hood and windshield were removed and the jambs were completely painted. The factory 4-spoke wheels were repainted at the same time as the body, and are mounted with a set of Michelin LTX M/S tires.
Receiver hitches have been added front and rear.
I have pictures of the under carriage of the vehicle of before and after clean up shots. There are pictures of all service records, original purchase order, brochures, wiring manual, original bill of sale, Toyota repair manual, wiring diagram, and period Land Cruiser brochure are included in my sale.
The Maintenance records are approximately 7K. The paint job to include the disassembly and entire exterior paint, to include all black trim, front and rear tow packages. Reassemble entire vehicle. Full Exterior Paint Total +Additional recondition wheels Total $7,500+. Purchase and install new windshield $606.25. Window belt strips $565.84. Washer nozzle $22.02. Front flare strips $82.48. Plus my cost of storage, title and tax fees. Plus, the purchase of truck and extra parts. My total money spent is approximately 18K, not including any of my time over the last 10 months. I have done my best for anyone who is seriously interested in my Land Cruiser.
I had this Land Cruiser finished in a highly respectable manner. I encourage and would love to see any Land Cruiser this Fj 80(91-92) that has been taken care of, by the first owner as well as he has up kept the mechanical, interior and maintenance of this Land Cruiser. I have just attempted to match the paint/finish work, to the life long, well maintained 91 Land Cruiser vehicle that this one is.
All of the door panels and the rear hatch door panel were removed to be able to paint all of the doors and rear hatch door properly. Also, the rear hatch door was removed and reinstalled for the entire full paint job.
I had all doors, hood, fender flares, windshield, trim, gaskets, moldings, emblems, grills, bumpers, lights, window washers, etc. removed for full original body paint coverage. The Land Cruiser was papered and taped to include all door openings, engine compartment and any other areas as needed. The entire truck was then wet sanded. The entire truck was fully primed as needed. And then fully wet sanded again to get the proper surface preparation for entire paint job. A base coat, clear coat was applied to the full exterior. The exterior was then wet sanded again and the final clear coat was applied. All black trim was repainted to match the original existing black in color. Gaskets that needed replacement were replaced. To include; (Windshield, Drivers Door and Fender Flare Gaskets Replaced) Also, under the vehicle, the fenders and quarter panel areas were also painted black to match existing black in color. The vehicle parts were then, finally reassembled as needed. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a vehicle in this stellar condition, with maintenance records, one owner history, receipts, original books, manuals and the original sales receipt.
This Land Cruiser has over $18,000+ and 11 months of cosmetic refreshment to buy it and put it in EXCELLENT show and go condition. Just $13,999 buys this highly well maintained/ reconditioned vehicle. One of a kind... You won't see another in better condition or as well maintained as this one owner long history vehicle, and you rarely see many vehicles that have the finish, to match the maintenance and records.
