When was the last time you saw a 1989 Toyota Van on the east coast... which has been garaged for the last 20 years? This is your chance to own the last year of a truly interesting vehicle in amazing condition. If nothing else, it's a unique collection of discontinued parts which you could sell to desperate Van owners.
My father bought this Van new in 1989. When he died in 1998, the Van went into my garage. I have always wanted to fix it up, but since I have not for 20 years, it must go. My family has owned it for its entire life. It has never been in an accident.
The Van hasn't been driven in 20 years, so will need restoration to get it back on the road. The body is in amazing condition with only minimal rust around the rockers and rear door slider. The rear carpet has been removed, but the front carpet remains (though currently pulled up to be cleaned). The tires are in shockingly good condition (but should be replaced due to age).
The Van includes the factory service manual and wiring diagram so you'll have all the information that you need to restore the Van. An aftermarket (Chiltons?) service manual is also included to provide backup information. The owners manual is included, as well as all service records. Rear seats did not come with the Van, so are not included. All the original parts are present, nothing has been scavenged.
The Van requires a tow truck with a winch since it does not run. I will work with a delivery company if you can't be present to pick it up. Full payment is due within seven days of auction ending. Paypal deposit of $200 is accepted.
