1984 Toyota Camry Liftback Limited Edition
Awesome car that sat idle for the past four years, and now I am forced to part with it.
Two owners in its life, 145k miles, front wheel drive, 4 cylinder, automaticwith clean title and original everything, including hubcaps and jack.
I'm forced to sell my 34 year old classic hatchback. I bought it in 2007 from its original ownerwho kept it garaged. It's got low miles on the original engine, excellent interior and great body with no majoraccidents, and minimal rust. It got about 40 mpg.
As far as the engine goes, I had to patch a hole in the radiator (seepic) and replace the ignition key chamber (see pic), but otherwise nothing major. Iplanned to keep it forever, but had gotten sick and couldn't drive, so it sat too long without being started and the battery died. When I could drive again, I had another vehicle, so it wasn't a priority and was put into RV storage until I could fix it... which never happened.
I don't know when I'llhave time or money to fix it, so it's time to let it go. Ireally don't want to sell it, but I realize I can't keep it.
Since the radiator has a patch, I drove locally and/or under 75mph, which was just what I needed it to do. The oil pan has a smallcrack, so it leaves intermittent random drips on the street, but was never important enough toworry about. The steering took a little bit of effort compared to a newer car,The heat works, (I never used the A/C), the windows are manual/crank and the upholstery isin pristine condition. The windshield has some cracks as does the side mirrors and the dash.
The hatchback door stays open just fine, but must be opened with the key fromthe outside. The front tires are were only used for a couple months when the car died, so they're great, but one of the back tires look dry.
The mirror to the passenger sun-visor fell out (but I have it). The driver seat-belt button is broken (but works), one of the knobs to the back seat is broken (see pic), and the stereowas stolen. :-/
No actual accidents to my knowledge, but a couple of odd little benders. One dent on right front side and another indent on inner back left bumper (see pic).
As a given, it needs any rubber parts that may have dried out (I can't see much other than wipers, but this is Colorado), a new battery, plugsand fluids to get it going.
Feel free to ask more questions, and I have more pics, as well.
Get back to me if you'd like to come see it,I'm in south Longmont.
This is also listed locally on CL and FB, so this auction may very well end early.
You must physically come TOW or HAUL the car away from my possession.
