1972 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser ONE OWNER!!! Well Maintained and never abused!!
1972 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40
This 1972 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser is in great condition For it's age. It has been owned by one family since new. We are friends of the family and know that it has never been abused, always maintained and kept clean. It has the original 3.9 L straight 6, 3 speed transmission with shifter in the floor and locking hubs....all work like new. When we got it we put in new master and Slave clutch cylinders, new radiator, new carburetor, four like new Good Year all Terrain Tires with matching spare, and all new weather stripping all around. it has new hoses and belts and the drivers seat has a new recover on it that matches all the other seats. We also put a new battery in We cleaned it up good but left the paint "as is" because it has the patina of a 46 year old, cared for vehicle. All the glass is good, no body rust and it runs and drives great. It is a good, solid Cruiser as is or a great candidate for a restoration project. It shows 82000 miles but the speedometer doesn't work, all gauges and lights DO work. The matching set of Good Year all Terrain tires have 8000 miles on them and I bought a new matching spare. The tires came off my personal Ford Explorer. We did a complete service; oil, oil filter, transmission and transfer case fluids change, both differential case oil changed. you can bid with confidence....as I have said we have known this Land Cruiser all it's life and it has never been abused....in fact when we looked underneath There was no mud or dirt built up like you would expect under a vehicle like this. I cannot say it has never been off the road, but if it was it was immediately cleaned up. If you are looking for a Land Cruiser to take to the trails or dunes as soon as you get home, This is the one. Or if you are looking for a project that will be a simple frame off project, this is it.
