If you are set on a Land Cruiser, this is a safe bet that is not a costly project. In the past two months, this truck was driven from Sacramento Area to LA, and from LA to Santa Barbara. This is my daily driver here in West Los Angeles. She hasn't given me and problems at all. I rely on this car and it never fails me.

Replaced radiator and belts
Replaced master cylinder
Relined rear brakes, replaced springs, wheel cylinder, drums and hard lines
Repaired leaks on diffs and transfer case
Replaced transfer case front output seals
Replaced transfer case rear output seals
Cleaned up transfer case
Replaced front and rear
differential pinion seal
Cleaned up differential
Replaced seals, hub bearings, all gaskets and hub seals on front hubs
Replaced pushrod and lifter cover and oil sending unit
Seats are a 8/10 condition.Air Conditioning blows. Heater Works. Does not blow cold needs coolant.Rear Left Lock doesn't always pop up electronically.Windows are not too fast at rolling back up.Key does not open trunk, must not be original factory key. Can be opened electronically.Small amounts of rust on the bottom of the vehicle, on tail pipe. and near edge of body around the wheel and doors. ( see photos).Sometimes the brake lights stay on if you don't let the brake pedal come all the way back up.
