Car was imported from Australia some years ago with the proper EPA paperwork and duties paid of course. HAS BEEN TITLED IN THE U.S. RECENTLY (So nothing to worry about). Last owner kept it in Virginia at Iron Pig Off-Road, which is a specialty shop specializing in Land Cruisers and had it completely gone through mechanically so it can be used daily if desired. They did A TON of work on it and basically went through the whole truck changing or upgrading whatever was necessary.
Body is BEAUTIFULLY STRAIGHT AND CLEAN, the underside is ridiculously clean. I have never seen one this nice, and these are notorious for rusting like any other older Jeep. Floors/Frame/Body Mounts are SUPER CLEAN.
Under the hood is the original 2F inline 6 cylinder Toyota engine the truck was born with, freshened up by machine shop, with rebuilt carburetor, NEW battery, NEW starter and ADDED Headers for better air flow and a bit more pep. Transmission was also serviced, as was the rear end and perform flawlessly. EXCELLENT CLUTCH, EXCELLENT BRAKES, VERY NICE STEERING. It also received NEW TIRES! You can easily get in and drive this truck ANYWHERE right now at the drop of a hat.
Interior was mostly redone with NEW reupholstered front seats, NEW full length carpeting, NEW dash pad. Comes with RARE Luggage rack and sunroof! Headliner looks to be original and is in fair shape with some small imperfections.
Super nice but NOT perfect. Most of the pictures and the video will show you small imperfections. Paint is not perfect, just a driver quality paintjob, roof and inside panels have original paint on them. Some of the rubber gaskets are dry and should be replaced in a few spots. Feel free to call me at (917) 749 4302 to discuss the truck in more detail.
Thank you and good luck bidding.
