1986 Toyota van
Go vanning in retro-future style with this classic 1986 Toyota. I bought this van from the original owner in 1989 with only 28,000 miles on it. It still runs and drives great, like always. This van is so trouble free it is amazing. I have decided to sell because we moved to an area in Colorado we need 4wd most of the winter, so I am letting my baby go. This van is the more desired cargo edition (has the better rear suspension than passenger edition) that was custom converted by a California company. The middle seat swivels so can be turned around and folded flat with the rear seat to make very comfortable bed or you can slide 4' x 8' sheets of plywood or other material in the back. Middle and back seat are also removable. Very low mileage, 204,000 miles is not a lot for these vans as I have seen many over the years with well over 300,000+ (see Toyota High Mileage Club). Garaged for some of the years body is in great shape for its age. Ungo car alarm. Comes with a Chilton Service Manual. It's had religious oil changes and all the usual maintenance and parts replaced, timing chain and tensioner kit, water pump etc.. Very fuel efficient. "These are great, great vehicles. There's a reason you still see them running around the Caribbean, Africa and Latin America with a gajillion miles on them. The 4 Cyl engine is actually a forklift engine and designed for extreme, long term durability."
