Description:

1985 Toyota Land Cruiser

Up for sale is a 198 Toyota BJ40 Landcruiser. This BJ40 is in very good condition. All the metal appears to be original. This Landcruiser is powered by a 3.4L B 4-cylinder diesel engine with a 4-speed manual transmission and a 4x4 transfer. It has front manual locking hubs. This Landcruiser was imported from Nicaragua about a year ago and I drove it almost every week from Granada to Managua which is about an hour drive and I never had any issues. As with any older vehicle it does have some areas that need attention. Everything in the drivetrain appear to be in working order including the 4x4.There are no leaks at all.The engine starts right up but does need the glow plugs or it will smoke. The charging system appears to be intermittent, I believe it is the external regulator. The gauges on the cluster do not work with the exception of the speedometer. Thelight bar and radio both workhowever they arenot connected. It does have power steering however I do not feel that there is any assist coming from the system. I believe it does need a front end alignment. All the glass is in good condition. The floors and frame are all solid with no rust. All in all, this BJ40 in good condition. The paint shines beautifully and it is a solid Landcruiser. It does have a custom-made roof rack. I have a clean PA title. Due to the vehicle not originally being a US destined vehicle it does not have a standard VIN. The chassis number is BJ40062006

The buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of the vehicle. I can assist in shipping if needed, please message me. The Land Cruiser is located in Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702

I strongly recommend that you come and take a look at the Cruiser before bidding or ask any questions beforehand. I would be happy to get pictures of anything in detail you may need. I can be reached by phone at 570-371-9108

I kindly ask as a courtesy to fellow bidders and myself that you do not bid if you are unable to purchase the Landcruiser.
