Includes the original Toyota of Hilo paper dealer sleeve "maintenance folio" where all of the original documents from the 1983 purchase are stored--to include owners manual and Toyota warranty booklet. All of the remaining documents are housed in a file sleeve and date from the 80's, 90's, 2000's to present. It shows about three additional owners. Also, original and complete tool kit and jack.

Ed Beckman bought the FJ60 from Irl Martin sometime early/mid 80's. Many receipts for Beckman in Kailua, Hawaii and it was my understanding that Beckman was in the service as a Capt. and moved the car from Hilo, Big Island to Kailua on Oahu. Many service records from Kailua Toyota showing this truck was serviced religiously and documented as such.

Mr. Beckman eventually retired and shipped the car to his new home in Washington state according to the Matson shipping documents. It shipped 6/21/88 to Seattle so the car was in the Islands first time around for about 5 years.

Next buyer, Dr. Brian Christie, seems to have taken ownership mid 90's and kept it until about 2012 in the Bellevue WA area---again, all service records included. This FJ60 has extensive documentation, virtually everything!

The photos show the original patina of a genuine original. There are a few little rock chips on the front hood, one small scrape on the front hood (thin) and some wear on the roof, etc.

I call it a 95% original paint car, as there is evidence of the tail gate being re-sprayed at some point. It is a fresher coat than the rest, though you'd have to look close to see the difference, and there is a very small bit of over spray on the pull up lock lever on the tail gate.Bumpers were both repainted and look great. The truck is 99.9% rust free. There was the small area on the roof that was repaired, primed and painted and it blends perfectly. Also acouple very tiny rust bubbles (size of a pimple) at the side LAND CRUISER emblem (see pics). Underside is in great shape as well. The undercoating did it's job!

Interior is amazing! No rips in seats (They have been covered and they are stunning shape) and carpet is near perfect! There are some scratches on the e-brake grip and that's it. Toyota FM/AM works and sounds great. Shift and 4WD knobs are new OEM Toyota.

Truly and super clean original interior as the pictures show.Exterior paint shows excellent and takes wax great. Gaps are perfect! There is a small amount of surface rust on the chrome wheels that some chrome polishing can probably circumvent. There is one headliner patch in the rear area that is pictured. It's been there a long time. Otherwise, head liner, sun visors, etc. excellent!

The truck has received regular maintenance and tuning since current owner purchased on 5/30/14. The truck was shipped from Happy Valley Oregon with 184,509 miles---current odometer reading is 189,836...so about 5k miles in 3 years.Brakes re-done in 2015. Clutch master and slave replaced in Dec 2016. Starter replaced in 2016.

The FJ runs flawlessly and is a truly an amazing FJ60 survivor. Given the quality and originality of the paint and high level original condition of the interior, coupled with the paperwork dating from purchase, tool kit, jack, and documented history, include shipping receipts, maintenance & tires makes it a RARE find.

The truck is on the dry side of the Big Island of Hawaii, covered and protected and waxed often! The owner is a meticulous collector with high standard of care and service. Not a daily driver, more of a Sunday driver/collector car.
