1990 Toyota Land Cruiser VX Limited

1990 HDJ81 Toyota Land Cruiser - Japanese Domestic Market Vehicle ImportImported from Japan and landed here in the states March 2016. VIN: HDJ81-0006233 ( Ebay would not accept foreign VIN)If you know these trucks, and have been looking for one, you are viewing a needle in a haystack. It is the nicest JDM 80 series Land Cruiser I have seen.Under 100k Miles, 148,542 KMs = 92,299 MILES VERY LOW MILESUndercoated at time of purchase (1990) and looks like NEW underneathGaraged its entire life, paperwork identifies me as the second ownerThe paint is like NEWInterior is like NEW, Rug is like NEW. The previous owner upgraded Head Lights, Rims, grill and had a Towing Hitch installed. New Grill included as well. The radio was upgraded and of high quality, but only spoke in Japanese.I had a 4100 series Pioneer apple play stereo and new speakers installed. I bought the extended warranty which is transferable and good for almost three more years. I researched and found shallow speakers to preserve the OEM speaker grills.I put a 1" Man A Fre stabilizing spacer lift installed. Added 315 General Grabbers AT2 - The wheel wells are really big on the 80 series and stock tires look small, these fill the wheel well nicely, they are approx 34.6". I wanted sizable tires that gave a nice ride and quiet on the road and highway and did not look to big!i had a custom receiver hitch welded for the front of the truck to house multiple things such as Fishing rod / Cooler holder & receiver winch.I rubber painted both Hitches to insure they stayed niceI had entire truck gone thru and had several things done- Example- upgraded AC and charged ( Ice COLD)The engine runs strong and quiet-1HDT-4226cc TURBO DIESEL4 SPEED AUTOMATIC, research engine- one of the best engines ever built by Toyota!I just realized I forgot to take pics of the real nice rug floor mats, it came with two sets and are in Excellent condition, I stored them in garaged and used rubber ones, not wanting to ruin them. I will try to add pics so you can see them! There are practically no apologies for this vehicle. Slight scratch on right front bumper, I planned on having fixed, approx $200, but since I decided to sell, i am a purist and would prefer to have done myself. If you feel different, I can have it done prior to delivery. The original undercoating included coating all of the trouble areas these trucks sometimes incur, such as bottom of doors etc. this car wouldn't of had rust anyhow with its impeccable care, but the undercoating is so great that it will keep this Cruiser like new for a very, very long time! If you have been looking for one of these, this is the one!! I have seen them sell from $20k to $30k Plus. In many cases you then need to spend money fixing them up. Often Rust issues, Even a real good one usually has surface rust underneath. Then mechanical repairs etc. I started with a needle in the haystack and then spent good money getting it they way it is. Also, I imported this vehicle personally and got EP, DO, and customs clearance. I have the vehicle correctly titled and registered and can be registered in all 50 states. I will provide all documentation to the buyer. One advantage of Ebay is it offers a National marketplace. I am willing to assist if someone purchases and arranges shipping. to be clear- the shipping is the buyers responsibility, I just letting bidders know that I am willing to assist in the sense that i will meet the shipper and make sure it gets on truck with everything. However, part of me hopes someone nearby may purchase because I would love for the buyer to be able to see how nice a truck it is! Good Luck to those who bid and welcome any questions you may have- I am also open to speaking, face timing ( so you can see truck ) and providing whatever needed for the SERIOUS buyer. also- reminder, it is a right hand drive, legal and easy to get used to- but wanted to remind or tell those that aren't familiar with these trucks.PS- my cooler / fishing rod holder and Safari rack are not included, If the buyer wants- we might be able to figure out additional price.
