Description:

1967 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40L

Good Driver Condition, New Single Stage Paint last fall, not perfect you can see imperfections under the paint, but looks very nice. Very straight truck, just not a perfect paint job, a very nice driver job. There is very little rust I can see, the floors are solid from the top and bottom, the fuel tank well is solid without any rust I can tell, the rear under the tailgate and under the tailgate doors doesn't have signs of rust, fender sides inside and out are pictured and don't show any rust through. There is little bits of surface rust throughout underneath, this was not frame off restored, it was cleaned up and painted to make a nice driver. Collects thumbs up by the hundreds everytime it goes out.
New Fuel Tank, New Tie Rod ends in front end, New Fluids in every component around 2k miles ago, New Windshield Seal, New Marker Lights up front, Newer Alloy Wheels with Kumho Tires, matching spare, with 90% tread remaining, disc brakes up front, rebuilt drivelines recently. The engine was rebuilt along with transmission and transfercase, front axle was converted to Disc brakes at the same time, both axles were gone through, factory gears, back in 1994 this FJ hasnt been driven much since then until the last 6 months or so it has reliably driven about 2000 miles without a hiccup.
Starts right up hot or cold, drives down the road with plenty of power. On a good highway you can steadily do 70-73 smooth and steady, if there are heavy ruts you will likely keep the speed down to 60-65 mph. The wide tires do still grab the road. These rigs were never designed for speed but this truck does drive straight and steady so you can drive it at speed. I will try and get a test drive video posted on Youtube before auction end or feel free to stop by and check it out in person anytime.
Speedometer works however the rest of the gauges are hit and miss. I would recommend having a professional go through the gauge clusters functions to see if maybe it needs a new ground or sending unit or two. Never had any issues and drive it for hours on end for over 100 miles at a time with no loss of any fluids, leaks, seeps or smoking, knocking, ticking, no bad stuff. Good strong clutch, good looking truck.
I have the bimini top shown in pictures and a fold up sides black soft top with a frame, just a cheap one but it will keep the rain off, included with the sale but not installed, NO HARDTOP.
