Description:

1982 Toyota Pickup Other Tacoma HiLux

You are viewing a 1982 Toyota 4x4 truck in amazing condition with very low original miles. A first generation factory straight axle pickup. The interior is all original, and has not been redone at all. The rubber floor mat is in excellent condition still, seat is very nice, with only very minor blems. Headliner is intact, and has one small puncture above drivers head. Dash is still very nice, although it's not perfect, there are minor blemishes on the top. Radio still works as it should, speakers still sound good as well. Over all I'd give the interior a 9/10. There are some scuffs/scratches on the lower doors, and one small tear on the passenger side lower door panel as seen in the pics. Describing the interior I've tried to be as descriptive and honest as I possibly can, as you can tell the interior shows very well. There are 117,281 original miles on the ticker, very low for a 34 year old Toyota Pickup. The truck has been very well preserved.
In regards to the exterior, I can't call it perfect, but it's pretty damn nice to say the least. All body panels are very straight, they are also original, this trucks never been in an accident, and retains all original rust free body panels. There has been NO rust repair ever on this truck, it's always been in a warm dry climate in California. Pretty sure there are no dents on the exterior, if there are they are extremely minor in nature. Inside of the bed is pretty straight as well, the front bed panel has some dents, but top of bulkhead is very straight. Over all the inside of the bed is in great shape, and the tailgate opens as it should. There was some body work done on the tailgate, it required some straightening/welding, and some body filler work. I felt the tailgate deserved to be repaired rather then replaced, the condition warranted repair not replacement. The truck has been completely repainted, and new factory decals installed. All other panels on the truck got no more then minor ding repairs only. Under hood, and jams were not painted, and the color of paint was matched using the toyota paint code. Over all the exterior is excellent, and looks amazing, the truck gets a huge amount of attention the way it shows. The truck came factory with plain steel wheels. I upgraded the truck to SR5 wheels. If you prefer the plain white steel wheels, I can swap them back on using the tires that are on it now if you wish, just say. The Goodyear Wrangler tires are two years old, and have plenty of tread on them. There are also "old man" bumper guards, and side marker running lamps down on the pinch welds below the doors. I opted to keep them in place. They are easily removed if that's your preference, but I opted to keep them because they were installed by the elderly gentlemen original owner when new.
The running gear is in excellent working condition, all works as it should. The engine compartment is 100% unmolested also. No engine ticks, it's doesn't leak on the ground, trans doesn't wine in any of the four forward gears or reverse. Transfer case, and hubs work perfectly, no axle issues, exhaust is rust free, less some minor surface rust. I believe the exhaust is original. There are no exhaust leaks. The truck was just tuned up, and runs fabulous. I would drive this truck absolutely anywhere, it's that good. Perfect for a little ranch truck, show truck, weekend cruiser, or daily driver. You'll love driving this Spartan wheeler anywhere. It may be short on luxury options, but it will go almost anywhere. This truck is a DLX, not an SR5, so it's option sheet is not long, I'm pretty sure it doesn't really have options beyong 4 wheel drive. It's a turn key, and go rig. No a/c, no power windows, manual trans, manual locking hubs. It does have sliding back glass, so I guess I stand corrected, it has two options. In the gauge department it has a speedometer, and a temp gauge, the rest are all lights.

Cash in person, wire transfer to bank of my choice, or cashiers check from one of three major banks. The three banks are Chase, Wells, or B of A. No small time banks I've never heard of that I can't walk in and cash the check from, it's only fair to me that I be able negotiate the instrument in person so I can convert it to cash. Payment needs to be paid in full with 5 days on close of auction. Once I've cashed, I will release the truck, and title. Title is clean, and clear in hand now, no delays. $500 PayPal deposit will need to be made when you hit the buy it now, and the balance to be paid in description given, I will not accept any more payment then the $500 initial deposit through PayPal. If you have question, please email your question through the eBay system, and I'll answer. If you want to speak via phone send a number, and I'll call as soon as I can. The truck is available for viewing in person before the sale, I encourage you to come look in person, it's very nice as you can see, but seeing in person is always better for sure. That being said, if you buy my truck, and don't like it after receiving it, I'll give you 48 hours to return it, you cover all shipping or transport cost involved, but I'm confident that won't be the case, it's extremely nice. I am offering that for your peace of mind. All I ask is that you return it within 48 hours, and put no more then 100 miles on it, that's all. It must be returned in the same condition you purchased it in, and I get the title back from you at the same time. Thanks for looking, I look forward to hearing from you.
