Runs great, looks great, RARE find. I have owned this for over 8 years with no issue what so ever. I replaced the battery with an Optima Red top, and performed normal maintenance. Since we own 3 Toyota trucks, this one is my toy, Low MILES, I Have maintenance records from brand new, This truck will not die. We drove in from Denver to Texas, and other trips in the past, no issues. The only issue I have had is that I cant fit two kids in it, that is the only reason why I am selling it. I did have it painted flat black. Search EBAY, and the WEB and you will see that this is truly a GEM. Truck is 4x4, you should know about the front axle "solid", and if you are looking at this truck you should already know about this truck. I bought new tires and wheels on the truck a few years ago. Truck has A/C but does not blow cold. Never used it, always had the widows down. Only serious inquires, call me for any questions, I have the right to end early as I will be selling locally as well. Call 806.549.8202 for any questions. IN 2010 the speedometer rolled over 100k, so really it is 104464 miles, but display is showing 4464 as picture shows. On Aug-15-16 at 14:41:41 PDT, seller added the following information:To add to this, I have my receipt for the tires and wheels, I bought them in 2/2014 $1,217.15 with original Miles 102,457. Mileage now is 104,446.
On Aug-16-16 at 11:37:23 PDT, seller added the following information:Some of you have asked, #1 Windshield is Cracked, and will someday need to be replaced, the crack does go across the bottom of the window. I have not replaced it, because it does not bother me, but you may want to later on.#2 The paint is not perfect, but the truck is a 1981, and there are some defects. The original paint is WHITE, the bed of the truck was painted with spray in bed liner paint, but is wearing off.
#3 This truck has passed every inspection every year in my state and city. I have it registered and it always has been street legal.
Some of you have asked a few more questions#1 This is a long bed truck 4X4#2 It runs great, main thing is that you let it warm up, and the idle will be perfect, after warm up, I am not a mechanic, but that is what I do when I drive it. But I know Carburetors are tricky any ways.
#3The only issue that I know of inside the truck, are the seats are original and have some tears, but I have always had seat covers, and the dome light cover is broken, but easily replaced. It was just old plastic.
