1977 Toyota Celica Liftback

This is a 77 GT Toyota Celica Liftback for sale. I bought it from the original owner who drove it until he blew the head gasket in 1982. He had it parked in a barn for 29 years until I bought it in 2011. This car is almost all stock down to the stereo. I had a couple things upgraded. I had a 32/36 Weber carburetor installed. The front seats were torn and had new ones put in. The car has 134,xxx on it. The original motor is in great shape with compression at 130, 125, 130, 130.
I spent a couple years having this car restored correctly. The paint is the OEM color. The only body work done was on taking out a small dent on the left rear quarter. Every hose, gasket and belt are new. It also has a brand new clutch as well as brand new brakes all around. The wheels are stock with brand new 185/70/14 tires. There are no leaks and drives fantastic. I replaced the carpet with the factory molded fit. The original rubber factory floor mats are still in place.. The title is clean and in my name. I also installed halogen headlights and they are no longer dim. The interior dash lights have LED bulbs for excellent visual night driving.
I parked the car in my garage every time I've been done driving it. It has never seen rain since I have owned her. I drive it about 1-2 days per week in the spring and summer when the weather is nice. My family is changing and I'm looking to sell this classic to the right enthusiast. This is a great example of an original restoration. I hope the new owner will enjoy the original state of the car.
They only made these in 1976 and 1977 and are VERY hard to find in original condition- especially this nice. Everything works as it should. The steering is nice and tight and is a pleasure to drive. I have the 1977 plates and registered as such for the state of WA.
This car has started every time and I have encountered no issues whatsoever.I would not be hesitant to takethis car anywhere. This has been mechanically sound. I have had over a dozen of these restored and this one is by far my favorite liftback I have ever had!
The spare tire well is rock solid with zero rust. In fact, there were no rust issues with this car. The rocker areas, the upper and lower hatch, and the windshield area has none.
