1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40

Welcome to Land Cruiser (not-so) Anonymous. My name is Eric and I'm a Land Cruiser addict. I've lost count of how many I have owned over the years and I can't stop searching for exceptional and interesting examples.Unfortunately I can't keep them all.
1978 FJ40 with a recent body-off nut and bolt restoration originally from Bogota, Colombia. Most of the South American 40's are 3-Speed but this one has been upgraded to the highly desirable H55 5-Speed. It also has power steering which is a nice upgrade. Most SA trucks also have a single stage re-spray but this one is much nicer with a base coat/clear coat paint job. BFGoodrich 33x10.50r15 Mud Terrain T/A KM2 tires mounted onpowder-coated factory steel wheels. 2.5" suspension lift. OEM Reproduction Soft Top and Bows. Runs and drives great. Everything works except the oil pressuregauge (had it checked manually and pressure is good) and the e-brake since the factory parking brake cable isn't compatible with the H55 transmission.
