1994 Toyota Land Cruiser

94 FZJ80 triple-locked 344k$6,000

We bought this beast from the original soccer mom in 2007: never been off road. 10 days later, we were on "poison spider" learning what she can do. We took care of immediate maint, added armor, other goodies over the years, and have driven everywhere having a worry free, great time! The bug set in, we bought a HJ75, then a HDJ81, and suddenly, there's no room in the driveway.

She has a bunch of miles, so if I were keeping her, I would do another front-end service (done at 195k), put in some 4.88s, rebuild the Tcase and trans. Fresh paint. And that's it. The PO smoked the engine at 190k with the PHH and had it rebuilt by the dealer and it's still running strong. Since us, meticulous maint, mostly by Safari Ltd in GJ, CO. No accidents, except the PO ran it into a ditch in '96. We have records of every single maintenance item ever performed.
