1987 Toyota VAN

This is our old family van which we are finally selling. We held out hope for many years of maybe reviving it, ut reality has set in. Single owner. 1987 Toyota Van. Some body damage and interior is not in great shape. See pics. Odometer broke around 278,000 miles and truthfully we estimate the miles at 300,000. My husband works 3 miles from home and for many years just drove it back and forth to work basically. I told him I needed full disclosure to list this on ebay so here goes; Motor works-in good shape. Transmission slips when cold but after that warms up and shifts good. Drivers side window does not work but you can shimmy it up and down with hands. Passenger side window does work and back sliding window on drivers side opens and closes. Windshield is cracked. It has new back brakes - dual AC does not work not sure why. Heat works. Interior damage includes cracked dash and ripped fabric to where underfoam is exposed on both front seats. Here is what my husband did. "While trying to put in a new battery he got cables crossed. There was a big spark and he pulled the cables off real quick" and since then it has not started.?!?! As I said, full disclosure". Front brakes need overhaul but we have calipers, rakes, ads, otors to do this and included in auction. Tires are really old. Muffler needs replacing. We put a sunscreen film on windows that was kind of temporary that is what the bubbles on glass is. I don't know if it can be removed, ut its possible. Includes full back seat and the 3/4 middle seat. Back hatch opens (trunk) and it is a 4 cylinder. We have the book if you need more info. When we were driving it we got great gas mileage. Interior seat belts, arpet are stained in back. Some stains on seats. Have cleaned it minimally, o detailing just vacuuming, ashing and wiping a bit. We have service records available also.
