Here’s a well sorted 1979 FJ40 that is in excellent rust free condition. The truck drives great. Steering, lutch, rakes, -speed Transmission HI and LOW all work flawlessly and feel great. This truck was lightly restored about 15 years ago by Land Cruiser experts at JT Outfitters. She was owned by a medical professional and eventually made her way from NC to WI and now in Central Iowa. She's been driven sparingly over her entire life. The odometer recently quit turning except for the 10th's but I believe the mileage to be with 1000 miles of the 53149 showing. The previous two owners have driven her about 3500 miles on the last 15 years.

While at JT Outfitters and more recently, he's received a new OEM clutch, ie rod ends, rakes, xhaust and was repainted her original color on the exterior only inPPG single stageRustic Green (Code 621). New weatherstripping on all doors which open and close with ease!, indows roll up with no effort.The floors under the carpet kit are shinypaint and free of rust.

Under the hood is the original 2F engine with factory emissions. The stock carburetor,distributor and exhaust.All original 4-speed transmission with 3.70 gears, EM axles with a stock suspension and extended slightly shackles. Under it all you will find 30x19.50 BF Goodrich AT's wrapped aroundcorrect and original steel 15" wheels and hubcapsand Warn freewheeling hubs. Her previous owner(s) maintained her well. She has her original toolkit, nspection light and Owners manual included. An all around beautiful FJ40 that anyone would be proud to own.

The interior isbeautiful andconsists of OEM front seats and rear jump seats that have beenreupholstered in marine grade gray vinyl, he headliner has been replaced with factory correct material.The dash pads are un-cracked and in great shape. The roll bar is excellent. Audio is powered by a dash mountedKenwood with 6-CD changer in the locking Tuffy console resting between thebucket seats. The floorsfront and rear have a carpet kit with rubber mats.

Turnsignals, eadlights, ipers, aillights, ackup lights, icense plate lights, ide markers and all gauges work. This old school 4WD serves up an awesome combination of off-roading prowess. Front disc and rear drum brake combination will bring all you to a quick and uneventful stop.

People hover around this FJ40 when I take her out. She's beautiful, ight, attle free and capable. It would be right at home at the malt shop or perched on a mountain stream. She's ready for adventure. If you're looking for a cool classic that's fun, nique and ready to hit the road, his is it!
