Please read the description. The engine knocks and it will need to be rebuilt.
I purchased this car at an estate sale. I replaced several gaskets/seals on the engine and carburetor. I used it as a commuter car for about 7 months and put over 16k miles on it. Over the winter I replaced the drivers side axle and lower ball joint, and I installed new brake pads and rotors on the front. The front catalytic converter has been deleted. I replaced the thermostat and fuel filter. The engine now has a knock once it reaches operating temperature, caused by a bad oil pump. The body is in good shape for the year. I can't find any cancer rust anywhere on the body. The car has just under 78k miles. It will still run and drive where you want it to go but it should not be driven until the engine is rebuilt or replaced. The passenger side axle now clicks and it should be replaced (a new axle and lower ball joint is included). The camshaft oil seal is leaking. The brake slider pins should have been replaced when I did the brakes but I didn't have the parts available at the time. The muffler has a hole (a new bolt on muffler is $67 online). I painted the wheels because the original paint came off when I ran it through a car wash. I only have 3 of the original center caps.
This is a 1.2 liter 3 cylinder car. Manual steering, manual locks, manual windows, no air conditioning, no radio, 12" wheels. I was getting 34mpg highway cruising at 70mph. I'm 6'2 and I fit comfortably in the car. A very fun car to drive.
