Cool classic rides has just consigned to sell this very rare 1959 Studebaker 4E Scotsman pickup. We are pleased to have this sixty two tear old gem in our Redmond showroom. We have found no rust issues or signs of old rust repair. This truck drives out superbly as well as shift nice and smooth. The prior owner did a home paint paint job using an 1950s era color. It deserves a nice paint job. I am amazed at the overall condition of the exterior. The body lines are all straight and the doors, hood and tail gate shut nicely. Original Studebaker hub caps still look great. The six cylinder flat head motor fires right with no issues, smoke or noise issues. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volt. The bed is in stellar condition as the prior owner had a home made canopy on it protecting it from the elements. Both the front and rear bumpers are stout and straight. The original seat is gone and now has a nice set of Chevrolet bucket seats that are quite comfortable and stylish. The glass looks to be all original with a small crack in the windshield. The door windows go up and down just fine. All the electrical operations work well along with the fuel gauge. We have priced this truck for $11,900.00 to move it quickly and will not last long.
