1955 Studebaker

Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is a very nice 1955 Studebaker Coupe that is extremely customized and unique. The Studebaker Speedster was an automobile produced by the Studebaker Corporation of South Bend, Indiana during the 1955 model year. The vehicle is considered Studebaker's halo model for the 1955 season. This 1955 Studebaker Coupe is a new modern twist to the classic speedster of 1955 with a nice 350 cubic inch LT1 V8 fuel injected engine from a totaled 1996 Pontiac Trans Am with less than 3,500 original miles. This nice LT1 power plant is linked to a smooth shifting 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. The rear end of this customized 55 Studebaker is a Ford 9 inch rear end with a Mustang II front end and full four point air ride suspension and when all combined together really make for a very comfortable ride in this custom 55 Studebaker. Four wheel disk brakes provide plenty of stopping power for the nice LT1 engine and 700R4 transmission. The custom design and restoration is carried over to the interior with over $10,000 worth of custom leather and bucket seats with an instrument cluster from the donor Trans Am all wired together with a Ron Francis Computer wiring harness. This customized 1955 Studebaker is sure to impress and turn heads at any local car show or corral with the custom paint job and pin striping by Christo added together with all the other custom work and design. Options Include: Air conditioning, AM/FM radio with cassette and CD player, cruise control, power brakes, power door locks, power seats, power windows, tilt steering wheel, leather interior and 17 inch Chrome Weld Racing rims wrapped in radial tires.
