1965 427 Roush Backdraft Shelby Cobra: I had this beauty built for me in 2016. I hand picked every feature that she has. First of all, the color is very unique and pops in the sun. I added the black-out options for the whole car. There is NO chrome. I had the engine compartment professionally accent painted (tastefully). The dash is the upgraded carbon fiber with led lights for the Autometer gauges. upgraded Sparco suede steering wheel. I had the whole interior diamond stitched. Torneau cockpit cover (with the rivet snap ons). Cloth convertible top, for those real sunny South Florida days, that also has zip up windows. Ceramic headers, ceramic side pipes, Tremec TKO 600 transmission (5 speed). There are many manufacturers replicas of the 1965 Shelby cobra, but most of them are very cheaply made, that is why I chose Backdraft, very sturdy, well crafted...But the biggest component, deciding factor was the 427 ROUSH, she sounds and runs GREAT!!! make sure as your shopping for one of these, to be able to hear the car...There is NOTHING like a ROUSH 427!!! you will save some money going with another motor, even the Iconic 427, but nothing is like the ROUSH- the dependability, sound and most important- how she gets up and goes....555 hp-535 torq (documented by ROUSH) any questions please contact me at (954)817-9440 or cohenj@bellsouth.net.. good luck and she is in GREAT condition.
