Hello Everybody !
Back in 2005 I wanted, (ALWAYS wanted) a real Shelby Cobra 427 S/CI knew that I could never hope to buy a OMotor Cars in Freeport. He put me in touch with Shelby American in LasVegas.riginal REAL LIVE Cobra.BUT I did the next best thin, so I went looking for one.I was very lucky, because I lived on Long Island and on Long Island there is a premier Cobra builder, Bill Andrews of H R E
I ordered the chassis from Shelby American and waited and waited and waited... almost 2 years later.
When the chassis was finally shipped to HRE Motor Cars, I had the finished ORIGINALSPEC 427 Side Oiler engine shipped to HRE as well, Bill began the final assembly, mating the tranny, and the Engine to the Chassis.
This Cobra is ORIGINAL IN EVERY WAY and is in the Cobra Owner's Registry

This Cobra only has 1500 miles, The tires still have the little rubber nubs on them ! Never driven in the rain, or even cloudy days !Built to the exacting standards, with an eye towards originality, Heck, the car doesn't have a gas gauge or a radio as per original.!The paint is absolutely flawless, please look at Pictures 6, 7 & 8.It's not an over the top Cobra, the 427 Side Oiler producesabout 460 Horses with plenty of giddy yap in ALL gears, of courseit doesn't weigh more than 2000 lbs.
