After the car was completed on June 14, it was shipped to Warren-Anderson Ford in Riverside, California. It was invoiced on July 30 at a total price of $3,902.75, which included Cragar wheels and freight. The signature Lemans stripes were included free of charge. It was purchased by Webber & Cooper Leasing of Ontario, California, on August 17, with the clutch equalizer bar replaced on Sept 15 at 1,946 miles. After several California owners over the years, in 2007 the car was purchased by Rick Manetta. At the time, the car had been sitting for 14 years and Manetta commissioned a top-notch restoration by Cobra Automotive—a world-renowned Cobra/Mustang restoration facility in Wallingford, Connecticut—that was completed in 2009. In 2016, the GT350 was sent to SAAC Restorer and Head Judge John Brown of Thoroughbred Restorations in Piedmont, Oklahoma, where the car was freshened to Concours standards.
