This auction is for a 1969 Shelby GT500 ORIGINAL OWNER car that was recently restored. The car exterior color is Gulfstream Aqua (blue) with a Gold stripe. The interior is White in color with factory rollbar. It is a 4 Speed manual transmission with the original Walnut shift knob. The engine is a 428 Cobra Jet with 42,171 miles. The dash was signed by Carroll Shelby indicating #2911 which are the last 4 digits of the VIN. Please see the attatched Marti Report which states that this car is only 1 of 8 produced in 1969.... Original sheet metal and floor pans, hen the carpet was removed the floor had no rust and paint looked good. The car was purchased from Koons Ford in VA in 1969, arked in 1972 and was garage kept until approximately 2009 when original owner decided to restore the car to originality and all numbers match!!! The car was never in an accident of any kind.... Owner is registered in the Shelby registry as the original title holder!!!
