Description:

1966 Shelby Cobra 427 SE

1966 Butler Cobra 427 SC....one of only 199 hand built by Ron Butler, former crew chief and head mechanic for Carroll Shelby Racing back in the 60's. Ron broke away from Carroll and made a short run of Cobra replicas before he was sued and shut down. This pristine vehicle only shows approx. 3700 miles on the odometer since new. The car sports a ORIGINAL 427 Side Oiler power plant with 10.5-1 compression ratio turning out a mind blowing 500 + horsepower to the rear wheels. Fit and finish is exceptional....Ron was a perfectionist. This Cobra was put together correctly with an original 4 speed Ford toploader transmission and original and time correct Jag rear end. Blienstein quad coilovers make the suspension fully adjustable. This car has a smog exception in Ca. so no worries for my west coast buyers. This car has to much to list so if you have any questions...please ask. Good luck reproducing this car for under 70k....if you can even find an original NASCAR 427 side oiler block that is period correct to run this beast. Car has been well maintained with a recent tune up, converted to full synthetic fluids, and run on a regular basis.

Inspections are welcome......serious only, no tire kickers please. Registered as a 1966 Ford Cobra so very cheap insurance and collector plates are attainable. You will not find a cheaper, more well sorted 427 side oiler Cobra on the market.....priced to sell.

Sols as is, where is. No warranties provided or expressed. Will ship and coordinate at buyers expense. Buyer is fully responsible for shipping costs. Deposit within 24 hours of auction closing....balance paid within 1 week.

Thanks for looking.....
