1967 Shelby GT500

California car,bought new in Redwood city, in shelby registry #638, Car has spent almost all its life in central valley Ca, except for being shipped to New Zealand in 2002, Car was shipped to customer of mine who unfortunately passed away a couple of days before car arrived, it has spent most of its time in New Zealand in storage except for some refurbishing and maintenance,which included full engine removal and engine bay tidy up and full reconditon on the engin, which has only 50 miles since work don, transmission was also totally rebuilt at same tim, Car was shipped back to states last year with other car from same collectio, and has been stored over winter, you may notice in photos the extra vin tag which was from New Zealand registratio, we decided to leave this on as its now part of the cars history, I know the history of the car from day one,Car has had three US and one NZ owner, still has Ca title,,This IS NOT a numbers Matching drivetrain car, the original engine threw a rod in 1971 and orig engine was scrappe, and the transmission is NOT correct for this ca, it is actually RUG AE2 for 69 mustang 428 or Boss 42, close ratio, big shaft 31 spline output,rear end appears to be the correct third member. this car was repainted in approx 1981 and the paint is still amazingly goo, this is not a show ca, or built to any concourse standard, but is a very clean original condition driver, interior was redone probably 20 years ag, but still looks great, car is factory brittany Blue with Parchment interior,never had any floor replacement,orig rear quarters,ask any question, have rack to lift car for inspections,Not trying to hide anything your welcome to come and give it a thorough inspectio, But dont come looking for a pristine $ 175 K car telling me its jun, as it is a great driving car that gets much attention wherever it is parke, and is a great foundation to build on if you want to take it to a show leve, ,But this is a great cruise night / local car show good quality driving car,,its an honest car with good history. any questions, have more pics and can take more pics of whatever you are wanting, 209 484 9244 Kiwi,
