1973 Saab Other

For auction I have a very rare 1973 SAAB 96 with the original V4 engine. I got this car from its original 83 year lil old lady owner. It was in indoor storagesince 1982, a true barn find! I began to fix it up with the intentions on having a very rare and unique car, however, its probably better suited for someone who knows SAAB'S...I did get her running, however, it has a clutch issue. I tried to fiddle with it, but I just cant seem to get it to work correctly, so I think i'm gonna pass this on to someone else who can address it correctly and who has knowledge of classic SAAB's.
The exterior is in decent shape, it looks to have been repainted a long time ago with the original color. The paint is faded, but could probably buff out. There is a small dent on the driver lower fender and one on the right side lower trunk. It has rust is under the front windshield (see photo), which is apparently common for these cars, but the rest of the car is solid with no rust, including the floor pans and trunk area. The windshield has a small crack on the driver's side and will need to be replaced.
The interior is in good shape. The front seats look to have been redone at one time and look great. The dash, floors, door panels, gauges are all in good shape. It needs a headliner.
I do have all the original paperwork, including all the service records dating back to the 70's. It has 70,712 miles original miles. The car is complete and will make a great original restoration project or you could fix the clutch issue and drive it as it is.
This car is not driveable in its current state and will need to be towed. The car is on non-opp status in the state of California. I have the clean title in hand. I have taken may photos to show the variousareas including the rust.If your interested, have questions or need specific photos, please respond via email and ill get you what you need. The car is in southern California, and I would invite you to come checkit outprior to bidding.
$500 deposit required within 48 hours if your the winning bid. Cash upon pick up of the vehicle. If you want it shipped, the buyer will have to make thatarraignmentprior to pick up.
Thanks for looking and God bless
