1984 Porsche 911 CARRERA. M491 Factory Wide Body This '84 Porsche Carrera is a Euro factory M491 which features the 930/20 engine with 231 HP and transmission with oil cooler. The car was imported sometime in the 80s where is spent a few years until exported to Japan in the 90's. There it received a make over consisting of Ruf front and rear bumpers and a high quality paint in the Porsche factory color of Rubystone Red . Also the dash redone in alcantara, short shift kit, and features factory sport seats. I mounted 16" Fuchs style wheels made in Canada, 8" front and 9" rear with Toyo R888 tires once the car arrived back in the states -I had the recent mechanical work done including various new bushings, new rear bearings and a complete top end rebuild including cosmetics. In addition I added the proper catalytic converter so it would pass smog here in California, no small task.Steve Wong rebuilt Bosch ECU .Mileage is 103000 kilometers or about 77000 miles. All gauges, lights, turn indicators are functional as well as the sunroof.The results are a strikingly beautiful, tastefully modified factory M491 wide body that is totally sorted and runs and drives excellent. I have all receipts for the work I've had done in the past couple years as well as all the worked performed while in Japan.Clean CA title in my name and CA smog certificate.
