1969 Porsche 911

1969 Porsche 911T offered at no reserve. This car was my pride and joy at one point but that time has passed. Around 5-6 years ago the car developed an oil leak in the oil cooler area. I don't know if it's the seals, one of the hoses or the oil cooler itself but the occasional drip on the heat exchanger and the resulting smoke - smell has lead to the car sitting my garage unused for the past 5+ years. When I had the passion this would have been a weekend project to make things right again. I no longer have the passion and it's time for someone new to enjoy and preserve the car. It is a solid model with the only hint of rust being in the passenger door column.
11 years ago I had the following work done.
Replaced all door and window rubberNew headliner installedReplaced worn syncros in transmissionHydraulic tensioners installedMSD ignition installedTurbo valve coversStainless steel heat exchangersand more
I have a set of H1s, a spare dash and a new carpet set that will go to the new owner. No tool kit. Car does have a manual.Large folder of maintenance records.
New rocker and bumper trim, still in the box.
The engine is the proper, numbers matching engine. The transmission appears to be a factory rebuild. This was my guess at the time due to the odd stampings on the case. I don't know this for fact.
I start the car a couple of times a year and it usually spits and sputters but eventually it comes to life. I'd guess some tinkering and carb adjustments might be needed. The fuel pump tends to lose its prime after sitting for some time.
Own a nice daily driver or have a great solid base for your restoration project. Original color is slate grey.
