Built by an R-Gruppe member to look like a factory-built hot rod, The conversion was performed in 2007. The 2.4 engine, 915 transmission and original suspension were swapped out with the complete running gear and suspension from a 1985 3.2 Carrera, Many hours were spent to ensure the car looks as if it left the factory this way. The Yellow/Orange paint scheme was also applied at this time in CARS Dawydiaks' award winning body repair facillity. All the trim, brightwork and seals were also replaced or replated.
