VIN WP0EB0912HS170131 The story of the air cooled Porsche 911 is one of evolution and refinement. Starting in 1965 and continuing until the present day, each generation of 911 has built on the successes of the generation before. By... the mid 80's the Porsche 911 had reached a level of engineering and drivability unmatched in that era. The cars were fun to drive, could be used as reliable daily drivers while still being stylish and beautiful. These same attributes make these cars desirable to both enthusiasts and collectors alike. The car on offer here is an excellent, low mileage, 1987 Porsche 911 Cabriolet. The car is a 3-owner car with ALL RECORDS FROM NEW, INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER. Enthusiast owned since new, this car is one of the finest 911's we have ever seen. We have been through this 49,700 mile car, and it is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. 1987 was the first year of the g50 transmission, and the cars also received a noticeable bump in horsepower compared to earlier years. Recently the car was fully serviced, including an engine reseal, air condition service (upgraded to R134) and all fluids. The car is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. The 3.2 liter 217 horsepower engine has good power and torque and runs as well as any 911 we have driven. The Schwarz Black paint is excellent and mostly original; it has deep shine and luster with few nicks or blemishes. The Black interior is in excellent condition as well, with a mild Patina. The seats look great and all of the electric seat adjustments work as they should. The black convertible top is in excellent condition and the electric top mechanism works as it should. The 5-Speed G50 Manual transmission shifts well, and the clutch operates and feels as it should. The air conditioning was serviced, and blows cold. All of the mechanical systems work as they should, and the car has a its original radio. The car has chrome Fuchs Wheels with some minor corrosion. The car has a clean CARFAX. The car is available for viewing; feel free to call for an appointment. The car comes with all books, tools and ALL RECORDS FROM NEW, INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL WINDOW STICKER. Bid with confidence, as with just 49,600 miles, this gorgeous car needs nothing except an enthusiastic new owner!!!
