1973 Porsche 914

ONE OWNER SINCE NEW
This Porsche 914 1.7liter was purchased new from the Lexington Kentucky Porsche Audi dealer in March of 1973 and is still owned by the originalpurchaser. The car is Sunflower Yellow with black leatherette interior. The car has beenrepainted in the original color and everything on the car is original. The original window sticker shows that the car is equipped with 5-speed transmission, enter armrest console, ppearance group, adial tires, -wheel disk brakes, ntegrated roll bar, achometer, resh air heating & ventilation and two way adjustable seats. The appearance group includes vinyl covered roll bar, ual-tone horn, hromed bumpers, og lights in bumper, ile-type carpet, 1/2J X 15 steel rimes, 65 X 15 radial tires. leatherette covered steering wheel, onsole under dashboard and leather boot for shift leather. The Suggestedretail price new was $4,499.00 plus $320 for the options for a total of $4,819.00.
The car is in average condition and can be driven on a regular basis. It is going to need some work in the long term. The engine and transmission seem to be in good working order. The car runs great and shifts smoothly. The clutch is fairly new. The front end is a little loose. The CV boots seem to be in good condition. The odometer shows 87,950 miles but it has not been working for awhile. I think the car probably has about 95,000 miles on it but will have to be sold as "actual miles unknown." The interior is in really nice original condition. The seats andcarpet are in good condition and there are no cracks in the dash board. The driver's seat does have a small tear but it can be easily fixed. There is some rust on both the top surface of the car as well as underneath. I have tried to show everything on the car in the posted pictures but it is probably best seen in person in order to fully understand the car's overall condition. The passenger side door lock post came loose and has beenrepaired. It worksperfectly but the repair was not the prettiest. There is some rust underneath but I think it can be repaired other than cutting everything out and replacing with new parts. It is not something that would have to be done in order to use the car as a driver.
I have more pictures if you are interested and will be glad to send them to you via email.
