Description:

1976 Porsche 914

This Porsche 914 was converted to an electric vehicle in 1997.
  • It was registered and driven on the road until 2013, when I removed the 20 Golf Cart batteries to replace them.
  • I have bought 40 LiFe (Lithium) batteries ($3600 cost) to install in the car, but my health situation has prevented me from installing them.
  • The LiFe batteries are included with this sale, the new owner will need to install them.
  • Estimated range with the new LiFe batteries installed is 20 to 40 miles, but this is not guaranteed.
  • The battery charger is included with this sale. It's shown sitting in the trunk (rear compartment) in the photos. It will charge the batteries from either 120 VAC or 240 VAC.
  • It will need tires, as the existing ones are dry rotted.
  • It will need to be removed on a trailer or by tow truck from my home in Dewey Arizona. I will not be able to assist the buyer with preparing the car for shipping if shipping is desired, it will be up to the buyer to arrange for all shipping and removal.
  • Mileage is listed as zero because the mileage is unknown, and the Arizona title reflects that fact (title shows mileage unknown).
  • Although it was being driven at the time I put it in storage, this is a project car, and should be purchased as such.
By bidding, the bidder agrees to accept the car as-is, where-is, with all defects known or unknown, and no refunds of any kind.
