Intermeccanica Roadster RS2 replica

Price: - Item location: Laguna Beach, California, United States
Description:

1959 Porsche 356 Connelly leather

Stunning in its Champagne yellow Glasurit German paint this car looks like it just rolled off the lawn at Pebble Beach. This particular roadster was not made in Germany but is an Intermeccanica convertible RS2! The Porsche convertible D model run was limited to 1,331 cars and about one half of those are known to still exist. With such few built the convertible D is one of the rarest 356 models and are highly sought after. Much like the original the Intermeccanica built cars are quite rare when compared to the number of 356 replicas and Intermeccanica built cars have developed a cult like following for there uncompromising attention to detail and quality workmanship. Virtually indistinguishable from an original 356 this is one of Intermeccanica's earlier cars and has been a treasured possession for its last few owners never leaving Southern California. Showing under 8,500 miles this car is ready for its new owner to enjoy. Equipped with German square weave carpeting, black Haartz cloth top and tan Connelly leather interior, this car has the look! A 2110 cc engine built by Bernie Bergman includes a Porsche fan housing which takes the car to a whole new level of engine bay bling that I've never seen on another replica. All receipts including original invoices signed by Frank Reisner the founder of Intermeccanica are included. Runs as good as she looks. Call Tom at 614-975-6996
