Also to be provided with the sale are: an Original of a Porsche Dealer Sales Brochure for the 1983 911 SC; service and history books including: Porsche 911SC, he Essential Companion and, he Essential Buyer’s Guide for Porsche 911 SC both by noted 911 expert, drian Streather; Porsche 911 Repair Manual by Haynes; and the Porsche 911 Service Manual by Bentley Publishing, ll of which are in excellent condition.

This 1983 Porsche 911 Super Carrera (SC) was manufactured in November/December of 1982 by Dr. Ing. h. C. F. Porsche Aktiengesellschaft in the Porsche Manufacturing Facility in Stuttgart, est Germany. It is a matching-numbers sunroof coupe, ype: 911340. The Porsche is powered by the original and legendary 3.0 liter, ix-Cylinder engine equipped with Bosch Fuel-Injection and bearing Engine Number: 64D1835 (M930/16) linked with the original 5-Speed manual Transmission Number: 74D1916 (G915/63).

The Porsche is finished in a factory-applied, pecial-order Ruby Red Metallic paint with Exterior Paint Color Code Type: X7. The finish has retained its luster and shine with some minor dings and blemishes that one would expect in car that is 32-years old (see pictures). I’ve been all over this car (underneath, nside and outside) and I believe the Porsche to be rust free. The Interior Material Color Code and Type is VZ Burgundy Leather in excellent condition.

Optional original factory-installed accessories that operate properly include: “Porsche” carpet pads; Factory-Tinted Glass; Porsche Alarm System; Electric Sunroof, lectric Windows, lectronic Cruise Control and Electric Side Mirrors, ll of which work perfectly; Factory Air Conditioning (as these units were never very effective, he unit is currently disconnected); Headlight Washers; a believed-to-be-the-original ALPINE Cassette Deck AM/FM Stereo Radio with Power Antenna; electric dash-mounted clock with rally hand that keeps perfect time; cigarette lighter; 160-MPH USA Speedometer; Tachometer; oil, as and volt gauges; 16-inch Fuchs Forged-Alloy Wheels; the original Pirelli Cinturato Tires (to be included with sale, ut removed and stored for preservation and replaced for safety with new Hankook Ventus Performance Tires in October of 2013); Wheel Locks (missing one); Space-Saver Spare Tire (original and un-used); Sport Shock Absorbers; Porsche Tool Kit and Jack; Higher amperage battery; and US-Standard Emission Controls; and Dual Rectangular Front Fog Lights;.

The car was reportedly purchased in February of 1983 by its Original Owner from Jack Daniels Porsche in New Jersey, nd driven daily until stored in the spring of 1987. The Porsche was reportedly retrieved from storage in October of 2013 and sold to the current Owner. The Owner began an extensive reconditioning and sorting during the fall of 2013 and through 2014 and 2015, ith work performedby a Porsche-trained mechanic. The sorting included: a new Porsche windshield; new gas tank and lines;a new fuel pump and filter; a new updated Bosch fuel-injection air box (explosion proof) and new fuel injectors; a new 10-position fuse block; rebuilt front brake calipers; new front and rear brake rotors and pads; reconditioned heater boxes; a complete engine tune-up; oil and filter changes; a transmission gasket and fluid change; a new catalytic converter; installation of updated Carrera-type hydraulic chain tensioners; new Sylvania Performance headlights; a new battery;new engine compartment and trunk hold-open struts; original tool kit and jack; and interior and exterior detailing.

The Porscheis presentlyregistered for road use and driven weekly for “exercise”. The Porsche has a current state inspection sticker, nd starts and runs up through all gears beautifully. Mechanically,the3.0-liter, ix-cylinder, ir-cooled, 11SC Fuel-Injected engine is reputed to be “bullet proof” and capable of delivering legendary performance and reliability mile after mile.

It is an extremely rare occurrenceto find a 32-year-old Porsche 911 SC with such low mileage, documented title and service history, nd inthe condition that this car obviously is. This Porsche is an actual barn-find survivor that all car collectors dream of discovering, urchasing, nd cherishing. It is a current classic, ure to be a wise investment, nd in need of a new Owner.

Neither the car, or the Title will be transferred until full payment is transferred by wire from buyer’s bank to seller’s bank. This car is being sold AS IS and WHERE IS, eaning that the seller makes no guarantees or warrantees and that, hile the Seller will cooperate in making the car available, he arrangements and costs for inspections, ransportation and/or delivery to the buyer will be the buyer’s complete responsibility.
