1985 Porsche 911 3.2 Carrera Targa with 162,XXX miles in Black/Black full leather interior with factory sport seats in original unrestored condition and original 16X6 and 16X7 Fuchs wheels. This car has zero leak, zero rust, garaged its' whole life, and most of the body panels have the original factory paint, except for the front bumper and front valance.
HistoryI purchased this Targa in June of 2016 in Alpine, Utah. The previous owner of this Targa had the car for 5 plus years and was a retired older gentleman, who traveled extensively and only used the car sparingly in the summer.I am selling because I currently have three other 911s in the garage and this Targa gets driven the least out of all of them.
Exterior- This Targa has original body panels and the original black paint still shines very nicely,- The Carrera side script graphic along with the powdercoated/polished gold wheels were added this summer,- Targa top is in perfect shape with no rips,- There are a few door dings on both the passenger's and driver's side doors,- The driver's side door is slightly misaligned, because the car slowly rolled back in the previous owner's garage when the door was open. The door still closes and opens like factory,- New Yokohama S Drive tires on all corners were installed this year.
Interior- This Targa has the full leather option from factory, which covers the dashboard, door handles, door panels, and seats,- This Targa also has factory Sport Seats and all of the interior parts are completely factory stock,- The dashboard leather is not perfect and is showing some cracks (please see picture),- The seats are also not perfect and has some wear and tear (please see picture).
Mechanical- This Targa starts right up everytime and runs really well with normal idle at around 750 rpm,- The motor pulls strong in any gear without hesitation and is completely stock and never been modified,- This Targa does not leak any drop of oil, and the oil temperature is very steady, despite stop and go traffic during Utah summers,- AC does not work and has not been converted into R134, however all of the stock AC component is there,- Transmission slightly grinds when downshifting into first gear if the car is not in a complete stop, however all of the other gears shift perfectly.
Misc- The odometer died shortly after I got it, but figured I drove less than 2,000 miles since I got it.- The car is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.- I have a business collateral loan on this Targa with my local Credit Union, title will be shipped once the payment clears and might take a couple of days.
