1992 Porsche 968This Porsche was purchased new on 02/26/1993 in Walnutcreek California and since then never left California.There is absolutely no rust on the car which is the most significant advantage on a classic car. I bought the car on10/19/2010 from a friend and since then car was not actively used and I added less than one thousand miles to that.In general car is in good condition,matured driven and never been abused .The previous owner spent more than $4000 on the maintenanc, and according to him pretty much everything on the front end was done.The maintenance was done at special Porsche shop Kahler's Werkstatt perior to my ownership.Before posting this add I had the car back to the same shop for the A/c general checking and a very expensive battery was also installed .total bill $1400.I never used the convertible top power mechanism .By pushing the switch it dose not go down might need adjustment .i was told the motor and cables are good .However most owners of 968 do this process manually which is even more convenient than using power .Unlike Mercedes and BM, 968 top is simple and not multi functions .During years I collected so many duplicate parts for 968 including top parts ( not that I believed I need it )and so many mechanical and cosmetic parts as precaution which is not included on this sale but I might decide about them later.I try not too over explain the car due to strange sets of standards some people might have therefore see all the pictures and judge that for yourself .Number of parking dings are minimal for the age and the paint is real shinny .All gauges and lights are fully functional..Top is in new condition and the back glass is clear. Interior and carpet as you see are in great shape .Being a non smoker car is totally odor free.Clutch is in new condition and no need to say how fast the car is .Please be noted that I tried to the best of my ability and knowledge to describe the ca, but please ask any and all questions you may have before biddin, I promptly respond to all your inquiries. I respect and value all the bidders however I reserve the right to disregard and eliminate all those bids which I don't believe in their legitimacy.I have been noticing increase in value of this particular Porsches however I beleive I have been very fair on pricing my car considering its condition and I would appreciate not to be asked about the reserved price . Comes with two sets of original keys books and tools.A deposit of $1000 is required upon auction termination and the full payment in three days of sale ending.I am not in a position to finance the car.Thanks in advance for your attention.
